Refund Policy
Effective Date: October 2026
This Refund Policy governs all refund requests relating to services and documents provided by WillOnline.com, operated by Digvel Inc. (the "Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing a service or document package through WillOnline.com, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
1. Nature of Our Services
WillOnline.com is an online self-help document preparation platform. We are not a law firm, do not provide legal advice, and are not a substitute for the advice of a licensed attorney. Documents generated through our platform are based on the information provided by the Customer. Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information and reviewing their documents before signing or executing them.
2. General No-Refund Policy
All purchases are final, except as expressly provided in this Policy or required by applicable law. We do not offer refunds for cancellation, change of mind, changes in personal circumstances, failure to use purchased services, or a Customer's decision not to proceed with or complete the document preparation process. Refunds are not available solely because a Customer:
- Finds the platform difficult to use or requires additional assistance to complete the process.
- Is dissatisfied with the service for subjective or personal reasons.
- Dislikes the format, appearance, or presentation of the documents, provided they conform to the applicable product specifications.
- Decides that the service does not meet their personal preferences.
- Chooses not to use, sign, notarize, or otherwise execute the purchased documents.
A Customer's subjective dissatisfaction, without a qualifying technical failure or document defect, does not establish eligibility for a refund. Contacting customer support, requesting assistance, or expressing dissatisfaction does not, by itself, establish eligibility for a refund.
2.1. Membership Access and Start of Questionnaire
For any membership or platform-access purchase, once the Customer has accessed the applicable questionnaire by clicking "Start Questionnaire," the membership or access purchase is not eligible for a refund, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.
2.2. Products Once Use Has Started
Any individual product or document package that the Customer has started using is not eligible for a refund, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law. Starting use includes, where applicable, beginning or submitting a product questionnaire, initiating document preparation, or otherwise commencing the product workflow.
2.3. Platinum Service
A Platinum Service purchase is not eligible for a refund once the Customer has started using at least one product or service included in or associated with the Platinum Service, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law. Use includes any of the following:
- Placing an order for notarization.
- Placing an order for shipping or courier delivery.
- Upgrading or changing a product to another product.
- Using or accessing a product or service on or after the date that is thirty (30) days after the original purchase.
- Initiating or requesting trust funding.
If any one of the above events occurs, the Platinum Service purchase is not eligible for a refund under this Policy, subject to applicable law.
2.4. Trust Upgraded to a Joint Trust
If a Customer upgrades or converts a trust product to a joint trust and then clicks "Start Questionnaire" for the joint trust, the applicable joint-trust purchase or upgrade is not eligible for a refund, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.
3. Refund Eligibility and Deadlines
Refund requests for qualifying technical issues and document defects must be submitted in writing within ninety (90) calendar days from the date of the original purchase. All other refund requests must be submitted within thirty (30) calendar days, except where a different period or remedy is required by applicable law.
The ninety (90)-day deadline applies to qualifying document defects, rejection of documents by a notary public or financial institution due to a qualifying defect, and qualifying technical failures of the platform. Other refund requests remain subject to the thirty (30)-day deadline, except where a different period or remedy is required by applicable law.
The applicable deadline begins on the date of purchase, not the date the documents are generated, downloaded, printed, signed, or submitted to a third party. The deadline is ninety (90) calendar days for qualifying technical issues and document defects, and thirty (30) calendar days for other refund requests.
Requests submitted after the applicable deadline will not qualify for a refund under this Policy, except where otherwise required by applicable law. A telephone call or verbal expression of dissatisfaction does not, by itself, constitute a formal refund request. Customers must submit their requests in writing by emailing support@willonline.com.
4. Eligible Refund Requests
A refund may be considered only in the following circumstances, subject to the requirements of this Policy and applicable law.
4.1. Rejection of Documents by a Notary Public or Financial Institution
A Customer may qualify for a refund if a notary public or financial institution refuses to accept the Customer's documents because of a verified technical defect, document-generation error, or material deficiency attributable to the Company's platform or document preparation process. The Customer must:
- Submit the refund request within ninety (90) calendar days from the date of purchase if the rejection is due to a qualifying technical issue or document defect.
- Provide written evidence of the rejection.
- Identify the notary public or financial institution involved.
- Provide the specific reason for the rejection and any available feedback identifying the alleged defect.
A rejection resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Customer, failure to comply with applicable signing or execution requirements, or a requirement unrelated to a defect in the generated documents does not qualify for a refund under this provision. The Company will review the submitted evidence to determine whether the rejection resulted from a qualifying defect in the documents. A third party's refusal to accept a document does not, by itself, establish that the document contains a defect attributable to the Company.
4.2. Platform Technical Failures
A Customer may qualify for a refund if a verified technical malfunction attributable to the Company's platform prevents the Customer from creating the applicable product for a continuous period of seventy-two (72) hours or more.
The Customer must submit the refund request within ninety (90) calendar days from the date of purchase. This provision applies only if the verified platform technical failure prevented product creation for seventy-two (72) hours or more.
The 72-hour period begins when the Company receives a report containing sufficient information to investigate the issue or when the Company otherwise confirms the malfunction, whichever occurs first.
This provision applies only when the malfunction prevents product creation and is attributable to the Company's platform. Issues caused by the Customer's device, internet connection, browser configuration, incorrect use of the platform, or other circumstances outside the Company's reasonable control do not qualify under this provision.
Temporary interruptions that do not prevent product creation for the required continuous period do not qualify for a refund under this provision. The Company may request reasonable information necessary to verify the malfunction and determine its duration and cause.
4.3. Errors in Generated Documents
A Customer may qualify for a refund if a generated document contains a verified technical error attributable to the Company's platform. Examples include:
- A data field appearing in the wrong section of a document.
- Required information supplied by the Customer being omitted or incorrectly inserted because of a platform malfunction.
- A material document-generation error that makes the document incomplete or materially different from the document intended to be generated based on the Customer's submitted information.
The Customer must submit the refund request within ninety (90) calendar days from the date of purchase and provide sufficient information to identify the alleged technical error. The Company will review the reported issue to determine whether the error is attributable to the platform or document-generation process. Errors resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information provided by the Customer do not qualify under this provision.
Where appropriate, the Company may offer to correct the error or regenerate the affected documents at no additional charge. If the defect cannot reasonably be corrected, the Company may issue a refund for the affected document package, subject to this Policy and applicable law.
5. Refund Request Procedure
Refund requests relating to qualifying technical issues and document defects must be submitted in writing by emailing support@willonline.com within ninety (90) calendar days from the date of purchase. All other refund requests must be submitted within thirty (30) calendar days, except where otherwise required by applicable law. Each request must include:
- The Customer's full name.
- The email address associated with the Customer's account.
- The order number or transaction reference.
- The date of purchase.
- A detailed description of the issue.
- Supporting documentation or other evidence reasonably necessary to evaluate the request.
For requests involving rejection by a notary public or financial institution, the Customer must provide written evidence of the rejection and the reason given. The Company may request additional information reasonably necessary to investigate the claim.
The Company will review each refund request and notify the Customer of its decision within seven (7) business days after receiving the request and all information reasonably necessary to assess it. If additional information is required, the Company will inform the Customer of the information needed to complete the review. The review period will begin once the Company has received the information reasonably necessary to assess the request.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within five (5) to ten (10) business days after approval. Actual processing times may vary depending on the payment processor and the Customer's financial institution.
Where a reported document defect can reasonably be corrected, the Company may offer correction or regeneration of the affected documents at no additional charge as an alternative to a refund, subject to applicable law. The Company will not require a Customer to accept document correction or regeneration in circumstances where applicable law entitles the Customer to a refund or another remedy.
7. Non-Refundable Third-Party Fees
Fees paid to or on behalf of third parties, including notarization fees, courier fees, and government filing fees, are generally non-refundable by the Company. Refunds of third-party fees are subject to the applicable third party's refund policies, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
8. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide through the platform is accurate and complete. Customers are also responsible for reviewing their documents and complying with applicable signing, witnessing, notarization, and execution requirements.
The Company is not responsible for errors or deficiencies resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information supplied by the Customer. The Company is not responsible for changes in applicable law occurring after the documents have been generated.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits the Company's responsibility for defects attributable to its own services where such responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9. Account Cancellation, Suspension, and Termination
Customers may cancel their accounts in accordance with the applicable account terms. Account cancellation does not, by itself, entitle a Customer to a refund.
Where the Company suspends or terminates an account, the consequences for payments, access to services, and unused subscription periods will be determined in accordance with the applicable terms and applicable law. Nothing in this section excludes any refund or other remedy required by applicable law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company's total liability to a Customer arising from a particular service shall not exceed the amount actually paid by that Customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use of its services or documents, regardless of the theory of liability.
Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws applicable to the transaction. Any dispute arising under or in connection with this Policy shall be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in accordance with applicable law.
12. Changes to This Policy
The Company reserves the right to amend or update this Policy from time to time. Changes will become effective upon posting, unless otherwise stated. Changes will not retroactively eliminate rights that have already accrued to a Customer or override mandatory requirements of applicable law. Customers are encouraged to review this Policy periodically.
